Harting Climate Action Network, known as Harting CAN, is a community group with the aim of mobilizing our community, connecting individuals to work and learn together to decarbonise, effect change and protect our natural environment.
Harting CAN is made up of five groups
Energy

Earth Matters – nature & biodiversity
- Operation Nestbox – the making and installation of nest boxes for swallows, swifts and house martins. How a community came together. https://www.hartingcan.org/operationnestbox
- Wild About Here – the creation of mini wild flower mead and the great wildflower seed giveaway https://www.hartingcan.org/biodiversity
- Harting Hedges – we’re currently researching the restoration and management of our hedgerows
