Highways, Byways & Footpaths

The Parish Council is responsible for maintaining the footpaths and highways within its jurisdiction.  The sub committee. the Highways and Byeways Advisory Committee (HABAC), within the parish council takes a proactive role in managing and aiming to improve all issues relating to the public roads and rights of way in
the Parish.

HABAC also  support the Clerk in managing any public concerns and complaints
that may arise as a result of such issues; in particular it will advise on how best to involve
parishioners in reporting frequently encountered problems, such as potholes and fly-tipping, to
the relevant authorities.

As an advisory committee, HABAC has no decision-making powers and does not meet in public,
but the minutes of its meetings are posted on this website.
